The truth has been avoided long enough. Our people live with long-term trauma. It made us defensive, reactive, and addicted to debate. We talk politics. We share clips. We argue. We rarely build. Christian Lebanon exists to flip that script, 90% work, 10% talk, and to do it with discipline, law, and visible results.
This article presents the essentials. Explore the full strategy at christianlebanon.com
Why we keep missing the moment
We keep missing opportunities and failing to see incoming threats. That is a strategy problem. We don’t act like one nation. We scatter. Others set our agenda, and we wake up late. On the political scene today, we hold little to no weight, which is strange for a people at least 14 million strong worldwide. Why? Because we forgot our history and allowed others to rewrite it. Generation after generation absorbed falsified narratives and stopped seeing any need for real change or real resistance. We also forgot our Christian Syriac identity. After the war, opposing forces normalized our Arabization, and for 35 years many of our youth lived inside that lie.
You can’t fight what you don’t see. Either we awaken now, or we keep losing people and culture.
Our non-negotiables
- Eternal protection for Christians: Permanent constitutional guarantees that cannot be undone by demographic shifts, all within a democratic system consistent with international human-rights law.
- Equal rights for everyone. We reject chaos and sectarian domination.
- A covenant with partners. The Druze, co-founders of Lebanon, are protected by the same constitutional design we build for ourselves; we seek to rebuild together on fair, enforceable rules. Jews have a sacred right to return and to live, work, and prosper in safety with security guarantees of comparable rigor to what they enjoy in Israel.
- Lawful and non-violent. Everything we do stays within human rights and international law.
We’ve published the core constitutional principles and the state’s form. Later, an elected constituent body will turn them into a modern, fair, enforceable Basic Law, a model system for other nations to follow.
The core principle: subsidiarity
Our operating system is subsidiarity: push decisions and resources to the lowest competent level: family, parish, community, then region, then government. The center protects rights, sets standards, and arbitrates; local society solves daily life. This restores the soul of our traditional Christian, family-oriented order, strong households, active parishes, and municipalities that actually fix problems. It makes us resilient: many small working units instead of one brittle center.
What makes CLI different
- We are not another party, TV brand, or protest page. We are a work program with a lawful end-state, run in three strategic phases:
- Phase 1: Digital Nation. We join our forces on a single digital platform where small groups collaborate on important projects that advance our cause. This is a psychological healing process that teaches us to know one another, to trust one another, and to see ourselves as one body. This phase is akin to the forty years the Israelites spent in the desert after leaving slavery and before entering the land of Israel. A mental and moral purgatory that prepares us for responsibility. This phase will allow us to introduce a system of polling and voting based on blockchain’s “internal democracy” principles. This will be the first incorruptible voting system used by a real government in the modern world.
- Phase 2: Institutions & society: We move from screen to street, building model localities, schools, clinics, water, waste, and living archives. In the first phase we proposed a government operating-system that has built-in anti-corruption mechanisms, in this phase we start applying it. All public projects will run on SOPs, transparent budgets, and before/after metrics; audits and dashboards stay public.
We keep developing the parallel economy (investment groups to boost our young talents, co-ops, a vetted marketplace, micro-grants, disciplined diaspora capital) with receipts.
In law and diplomacy, we ready the file: municipal codes and a Basic Law sketch, case folders and ombuds, plus a smart, document-first lobbying network with city-to-city links. We also coordinate with forces on the ground from sovereign Christian parties to federalists and municipal leaders to accelerate delivery and empower society, while keeping standards non-partisan and rights-based. This phase proves capacity and consent for Phase 3.
- Phase 3: Legal Execution & Recognition. We prepare the legal dossier based the Montevideo Convention (population, territory, effective government, capacity for relations) as our center line, then run parallel lawful alternatives lanes:
- Constitutive recognition (example Bosnia);
- Internal self-determination via negotiated referendum/accord (Nouméa/New Caledonia; Bougainville—2019 referendum; Quebec—1995 referendum);
- De facto independence with gradual recognition (Somaliland; Taiwan);
- Restoration of historical sovereignty (Somaliland; Baltic states; Czechia/Slovakia);
- Remedial secession (Bangladesh; Kosovo; East Timor—UN referendum); and Remedial secession via peace-agreement referendum (South Sudan—2011; Eritrea—1993; Montenegro—2006); with external decolonization as context where relevant (Algeria—1962 referendum; Namibia; Western Sahara).
To stop “waiting for history” and begging for others to shape our future, we form during this 3rd phase a small Opportunity & Acceleration Committee (legal–diplomatic–municipal) that watches for de-facto openings, local collapses, security realignments, international reports, etc.… and converts them into lawful steps within hours, not months. This is how we act instead of begging after it’s too late.
Order matters. Skipping steps collapses into talk. Following them builds power first, recognition later. We should learn to behave as a nation before expecting the world to recognize us as one.
History and language: the two starting keys
Every real independence story starts with memory and tongue. If we don’t relearn our history and revive Syriac, we won’t think or act like a nation; we’ll behave like scattered crowds. These two projects will reprogram our collective identity. We will duty, solidarity, and a shared future.
We will be launching in the coming weeks:
- Interactive Syriac learning platform with a modern, intuitive interface. Suitable for beginners and children.
- National web archive with a visual, interactive interface that will become our go-to center to learn our history.
These two projects were prepared in the past months by over 20 experts each in their own field.
The hard decision about geography
We see in “Greater Lebanon” a political machine that was designed to erode us. Internal reforms can slow the damage, but they cannot reverse it. We therefore return to historical Mount Lebanon, with borders determined in consultation with our co-founders, the Druze. If they want one state with us, we will build it together with equal “eternal protection” in the constitution. If they prefer a separate path, we will separate peacefully and legally, with the intention on becoming great neighbors and allies. This is a careful, lawful decision not a slogan.
A note to the younger generation
You are the center of this. You were born in the age of information and AI, and that changes how you learn, decide, trust, and work. Old political programs speak in propaganda and stale rhetoric; they don’t reach the modern person. That gap leaves a void, and hungry young minds get targeted in schools and colleges by noise and passing fashions. CLI exists to fill that void with formation, truth, and skill. We will speak in the language that fits your world—clear, fast, visual, disciplined—and give you real work, real standards, and real community. You are the future of Christianity and the future of Lebanon. We are building this for you—and with you.
The long vision and what has been achieved so far
Our aim is not just to survive but to grow as a great nation: Mount Lebanon as a Mediterranean center of technology, security, and civic standards. The path is sequential: formation → functioning services → lawful recognition → focused investment and research.
Delivered / in motion:
- Published the full strategy roadmap, “Becoming a Nation.”
- Published a concise essay on constitutional architecture (principles and state form).
- Published operational councils and began building the digital platform Arzo, an ERP for projects, teams, internal voting, and a private social network.
- Completed preliminary legal research on pathways to sovereignty.
- Ran a preliminary food-security study and mapped agriculture technologies to test.
- Launching the first online Syriac course (10 lessons), with more to follow.
